Ruixin Glass in 2023 Canton Fair

2023 marks the first year since 2020 that the Canton Fair has resumed its offline exhibitions. Among the participating companies is Ruixin Glass, whose booth number is GLASSWARE BOOTHHALL 1.2 D52-53/E01-02.

Ruixin Glass attended the exhibition with the main purpose of re-establishing contact with long-time customers and expanding into new markets. This year, the company's flagship products have seen some changes. While candlesticks, crystal goblets, and high-boron silicon products remain the mainstay of their offerings, Bohemia glass bowls have been removed from their list of primary products due to increasingly low profit margins and production costs.

The company's focus has now shifted to developing markets for scentless aromatherapy bottles and perfume bottles, which have received significant attention at this year's exhibition.

We have also noted the rising popularity of a new handcrafted glass technique. This technique, known as "laminating," was first brought to our attention back in January at the Maison Object exhibition in Paris. There were many stunning spotted glass vessels on display, all made entirely by hand using this unique technique. The process involves creating a smooth vessel mouth and a slightly cloudy material, resulting in a distinct appearance. At the April 2023 Canton Fair, several similar products were showcased, and we expect this technique to gain popularity over the next six months.
